Our hearts and prayers go out to the Ferrell family. Why, why, why does this happen? What kind of person does this?

Mirah Ferrell says on her Facebook posts, "Please help get the word. Thank you to the ones that have shared. I want justice for my boy."

"Whoever in their right mind shoots a horse?!?! This horse had a life ahead of him and great things to come. He would be the first to greet you. He was so loving. His life was taken from f$&@ dumb a** that thought it would be fun to go and shoot a horse. I pray to God that you don’t come across my path."

Stolen Horse International-NetPosse Missing and Stolen Equine also help disseminate information about crimes on horses as well as the mission to bring horses home. This is a different world than even a few years ago. What makes someone think that it is okay to harm an animal? There are more and more crimes on horses each year it seems.

Please, help Mirah's family find justice for this beautiful horse. If you know something, say something. Please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 208-446-1300.
