Some of our volunteers are sleeping on the job. Palmer (L) and BoBo (R), Metcalfe's dogs, are great support animals in the office but only get a little to nothing done. You can see their specialty. Seriously, Stolen Horse International desperately needs a volunteer coordinator. Many people want to help but need someone to direct them on how to help. Is this something you would like to do?

A Volunteer Coordinator, or Volunteer Program Coordinator, oversees Volunteer activities within our organization. The specific duties of a volunteer coordinator may vary depending on the typical duties, including recruiting new volunteers, interviewing, supervising, and training volunteers. Coordinators typically schedule volunteers for ongoing tasks. Organizing and finding people to help promote alerts is another responsibility of our volunteer coordinator.

Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
~Martin Luther King, Jr.
