Bringing Horses Home™ by using key volunteers is strengthening the national NetPosse Alert network for horse owners and victims through the NetPosse Volunteer program.
We are looking for committed excellent caring volunteers to be project volunteers and the eyes, ears, and fingers on keyboards that help horse owners protect themselves and assist victims when the worst happens.
Volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines—including social work, nursing, horse owners, trainers, veterans, just to name a few. Our key volunteers need to understand how to both work with individuals and groups and navigate the internet to disseminate our alerts through our NetPosse Alert systems.
Volunteers are here to help people in the context of their unique missing horse situations. In fact, the volunteer position with us grew out of early case management work in 1997 by the founders of our organization as they pioneered the search and recovery of their own horse, Idaho. Stolen Horse International has remained active as a total volunteer organization since that time and has helped thousands over the years.
If you like helping people get through tough times; have a compassionate heart and hopefully a few hours each week to commit to volunteering for a good cause, you may be the perfect person for this job.
You may not have saved a lot of money in your life, but if you have saved a lot of heartaches for other folks, you are a pretty rich man. ~Seth Parker
