Volunteer Opportunity: Instagram Account Manage

Stolen Horse International is seeking a dedicated volunteer to oversee and promote our Instagram account as part of our nationwide effort to recover stolen and missing horses.

As our organization grows, social media is a critical tool for awareness, alerts, and successful recoveries. This role helps ensure important information reaches the public quickly and responsibly.

Responsibilities include:

• Posting and scheduling content (alerts, updates, awareness posts)
• Sharing stories and reels to increase reach and engagement
• Monitoring messages and comments (with guidance from our team)
• Helping grow our audience through consistent, thoughtful promotion
• Coordinating with our NetPosse and leadership team

Ideal volunteer:

• Familiar with Instagram posts, stories, and reels
• Reliable, organized, and compassionate
• Understands the seriousness and sensitivity of missing horse cases
• Experience with nonprofits or advocacy pages is a plus, but not required

Qualifications Required:

• Comfortable using Instagram posts, stories, and reels
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow established procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion
• Good written communication skills
• Willingness to follow confidentiality and posting guidelines
• Ability to commit to regular, ongoing volunteer time
