Harris County Animal Cruelty Case Revisited in Houston, TX

Harris County Animal Cruelty Case Revisited in Houston, TX

29 July 2020

Could one of these horses be your missing horse? Sometimes our stolen and missing horses end up in some of the worst places.

We know this is a long shot but we are sharing this cruelty case to see if anyone recognizes their missing horse.

According to the Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce post on Facebook on July 28, 2020, a task force investigator was called to a horse boarding facility on the northeast side of Houston regarding two neglected horses a couple of months ago.

Upon arrival at the property, it was clear that both horses were lacking proper food, were emaciated and in need of vet care.

The property owner was non-compliant in working with the officer on the scene and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant to seize the horses.

The horses were taken to the Houston Humane Society for treatment and housing.
