Are Equine Breed Registrations Proof Of Ownership?

We often see people referring to their registration paperwork as proof of ownership. As you can see from the example above, this may or may not be accurate.

We challenge everyone with a horse registered in a breed registry to do the following.

  • Call your breed registry.
  • Ask, "Is my breed registration proof of my ownership of the horse in a court of law?"
  • Get an answer

Don't forget to ask them to send their answer in writing, either by mail or email, for your records.

Once you have the answer, please email us and tell us about your experience at info@netposse.com.
