Elderly North Carolina Woman Pleads for Public’s Help in Finding Her Stolen Horse, “Reba,” Named After Country Icon

LUMBER BRIDGE, NC — [March 14, 2026] — Stolen Horse International–NetPosse™ is issuing an urgent public alert for Reba, a Spotted Tennessee Walking Horse named after country music artist Reba McEntire. Reba was stolen from her home during the night of March 10, 2026, in Lumber Bridge, North Carolina.

Security video obtained from the property shows two men walking two horses across the driveway. One of the horses was Reba, and Stolen Horse International believes the second horse may have been used as a lead horse to encourage Reba to walk more willingly into the darkness.

Reba’s tracks were later found ending along the paved road, leading investigators to believe she may have been loaded into a trailer and transported away from the area.

Reba’s owner, Rosemary, who is 80 years old and currently recovering from a broken back, is heartbroken and pleading for the public’s help.

“I am 80 years old and am healing from a broken back. I do not know how to use social media, and I need help finding Reba. I’ve had her for 16 years, and I never thought this could happen. Please, help me bring her back home.”
Rosemary, Reba’s owner

The public is urged to visit Reba’s official NetPosse webpage for verified case information and a printable flyer.
