NetPosse helps victim bring Spyder home

SPYDERISHOMEPeggy.jpgPeggy Kellogg was in tears when she called NetPosse late one night with her story of despair. It was March, 2013. Debi Metcalfe answered the phone and the two talked for over an hour. Peggy was at wits end. What was she to do?

Debi had the answers and NetPosse.com (aka Stolen Horse International) went right to work, providing advice and assistance needed to find Spyder, the solid Paint Horse that had been recently stolen from Kellogg, along with tack and trailer.

Stolen Horse International, aka NetPosse.com is more than just a Facebook page and more than a website that lists reports on stolen horses. We are an organization with special expertise working directly with victims like Peggy Kellogg. We work hard, behind the scenes and our hard work often pays off with positive results.

“I just wanted to know Spyder was okay and until I found him I would not know that answer.” NetPosse helped Peggy to find “names of PI specialists and which branch of law enforcement to call on for help.” Kellogg could feel the impact of the difference we made. “Many many thanks for the prompt changes that have occurred because of the volunteer help Angela at NetPosse.com gracefully provided.”

“I'd have to say the posters are what we used the most. From law enforcement to auction yards, sale barns, western stores, neighborhood flyers near the suspects home, Craigslist, and facebook. We repinned every few days. It was a (NetPosse) poster the sheriff handed the owner of the land where Spyder was hidden that was the key that finally brought him home.”

Though we have no attorneys on staff and we cannot provide legal advice, NetPosse helps victims in other ways while they negotiate the legal system. Peggy Kellogg says, “I finally settled out of court in mediation. I agreed that Spyder, among my trailer and trophy saddles and all tack would be mine provided ‘I find them.’ Amazingly, four days later NetPosse (Stolen Horse International) helped me locate and bring home my stolen horse.”

When our clients are happy, we are happy. Again from Peggy, “thank you Angela for the posters (flyers) updated at a moment’s notice, which you did at least three times for me. Thank you Debi for the informative feedback each time I panicked about the court hearings and mediation!”

“You all are Angels and my angel is home. We are truly blessed.”

Now we hope with your help we can still bring home one trailer and two saddles. Please go to report No. NR001890, print the alert and flyer and share it with your friends.  Never underestimate the power of one! You!
