05 July 2012

netpossenewsbrief.jpgWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) July 5, 2012-- Another horse was found mutilated and dumped on a dirt road in Miami Dade County.

We have this information on because we are baffled at the amount of horses falling to this fate nationwide, especially in Dade County, FL. Where are these horses coming from and who are their owners? Are they stolen?

This horse was discovered along Northwest 137th Avenue and 178th Street, near Okeechobee Road, Wednesday, July 4, 2012. The bones, head of the horse, bridle and hooves with the shoes still attached were found.

It is believed that this is a racehorses because the shoes have a Thoroughbred trademark.

If you have any information on this horse slaughter, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
