(Lysander, NY – June 20, 2012) - Sometimes you have to love those traffic cams! In this case one of them caught a thief rolling through with a stolen horse trailer.
State Police in Lysander, New York are asking for help in identifying this Dodge Ram Pick-up Truck that was involved in the theft of a horse trailer from the New York State Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at 3:00 pm.
The truck is a royal blue two door extended cab with silver along the doors and side fenders. It has a yellow NY license plate that possibly starts with the number "4" or letter "A".
The stolen trailer is an Adams two horse tag-a-long with two axles. The trailer had a state of Maine registration number 1692979. The suspect vehicle was last seen being operated by a male driver.
Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police Investigator Paul Olson in Lysander at (315) 638-8200.
