Stephenville, TX -- Two horses were injured and one horse died after someone shot them in their pasture on County Road 264 in Stephenville, Texas. The crime happened between July 7th and July 10th.
The weapon used to shoot the horses is a small-caliber weapon according to a spokesperson for the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA).
The TSCRA is also offering the $1,000 reward as an incentive to have the public step forth with information that tips that lead to an arrest. Tips are kept confidential and can remain anonymous.
The Erath County Sheriff's Department, the local game warden, and the TSCRA are investigating the case.
