Tonja is overjoyed that she has found her horse Ringo.  Only her words can best describe her feelings today.

Tonja talked excitedly over the phone to me today. She knew I knew what she was feeling as she said,

"It doesn’t seem real! Eight months of thinking to myself I am never going to find him. There are so many emotions. You don’t even know which way to go. I am beside myself.”

“He had this look on his face, like is it you? You know what I mean? He kept staring at me and could not take his eyes off of me the whole time I was there. I untied him from the post and had him step up, back up, step over and they (people who had him) were like whoaaa!”

“If I had not had NetPosse  I would not have made it. If it were not for you or Sonya or somebody calling me every week, I don’t think mentally I would have made it, ever, never!  Six degrees of separation and eventually the girls that helped me with his location found me through Facebook through all of this. My boy is coming home and I am so very thankful to NetPosse! So thankful!”

There was more to our conversation but as I listend to Tonja talk I couldn't help but remember our own association with the area in which Ringo was found today. You see, we recovered Idaho in the same small town in 1998. For those who do not know, it is because of the theft of Idaho that Stolen Horse International is here today. It is a small world after all?

A young newly married Amish couple who bought their first horse got more than they bargained for when they bought Ringo. When they found out where Ringo really came from and how he came to be at their farm they decided to do the right thing.  They are giving Ringo back to Tonja.  They were willing to return Ringo to Tonja for free but she would love to compensate them for some of what they paid for the horse because they had taken such good care of him for eight months.

There is more than one victim in this story. Stolen Horse International would like to assist Tonja's efforts to raise $500 to give to this couple by offering a secured way to make your donation.

If you would like to donate to the fund you can do so through Stolen Horse International's PalPay fund set up for Ringo at the link below, at our Donate [Other] link online or by calling in a donation to office at 704-484-2165.

Any amount over $500 will go towards the education fund for Stolen Horse International. Thank you for any and all donations.

Another horse will soon be home. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way large or small!
