RECOVERED 5/7/09 - Holly, Bay Quarter Horse Mare, and Mylo, Mini Donkey Stallion, Missing from pasture – Cleveland County, NC – 5/5/09

These two have been found. Someone in Golden Valley has the two. We are not sure how they got that far and we are checking to see if we can unravel the rest of the story.

Patcy said to tell everyone who helped, "Thanks a million....my best friends have been found and this is wonderful and thank you to everyone who has been involved!"

Now off to get this dynamic duo and see if we can figure out how they came to be where they are located.

Note: None of the animal control or law enforcement agencies were able to connected the owner missing these animals with the person who found them. You'd think it should have been as simple as this.

1. The owner reports the animals missing.
2. The good Samaritan reports them found.
3. There is a match and the animals go home.

Some agencies are outstanding. We are not saying that communications break down this way in every case. But all to often this is the way it happens around the country.  We are not sure why.

When you find a horse they need you to do all you can to find their owner. Simply reporting them to the authorities may not be enough.

Had it not been for the owner contacting Stolen Horse International, our NetPosse.com Alerts and the work we did on this case, this reunion may have never taken place.
