NC September 18, 2013 - Lenoir County's sheriff says whoever shot a horse Friday night committed a sadistic, evil act. Sheriff Chris Hill says at 11:45 p.m.
Friday the horse was fine. By 9:30 a.m., owner Johnnie Tyndall found the horse dead in it's pasture, located on Live Oak Hog Company Road in Deep Run.
Hill said his office is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading directly to the arrest of whoever shot the brown Belgium.
