FULTON, Miss. (WTVA) - A horse and a pony were shot in Itawamba County, Mississippi and the Itawamba Sheriff's Department is asking for you help in finding the person(s) who shot them.
Candy Cane, a pony belonging to Stephanie Vale's daughter was found shot in the stomach and lungs on March 19th, 2020. She died immediately. Stephanie's horse Blue is being treated for her injuries at a veterinary hospital.
In an interview with WTVA, Vale says that a person's true character is shown by how they treat an animal.
A reward is being offered by Vale for information that leads to the arrest of the person who shot her horses.
