November 16, 2012 - Police have stepped up patrols in Brandon after riding equipment was stolen from sheds during a spate of burglaries.
Officers are appealing for information after saddles, bridle ropes and a box trailer were stolen from sheds at an address in Church Road between 10pm on Wednesday, November 14 and 6.45am the following morning.Offenders cut through locks and chains to gain access. Wooden fencing was pushed over in order to remove a trailer.
Two horse carriages and three sets of horse harnesses were stolen from a shed off Chalk Road after the door was forced open between 3pm and 6.30pm on November 14.
