STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — Horse lovers are coming together to help find Jasmine, a 13-year-old Tennessee Walker Mare, who went missing Saturday along the Sauratown Trails in Stokes County.
“She’s a sweet horse very gentle, it’s just that she is very timid,” said Jasmine’s owner Marilyn Colvin. “It’s really hard being without her.”
The 1,000 pound horse got away from Colvin when she got off to help a friend whose horse had fallen in a hole.
