HORSE ATTACK - Sister released from MS vet hospital after being shot.

BIBB COUNTY, AL - Sister, a 2-year-old female horse, was shot while inside a gated pasture on Abercrombie Road in Centreville Saturday morning. The horse was shot in the side and leg after being shot with a twelve-gauge shotgun. 

It's estimated Sister had 100 pellets from turkey shot in her gut and leg.

The owner of the injured horse tried to follow the vehicle but lost sight of the vehicle. Deputies responded and were assisted by Brent and Centreville police.

Two men were arrested in connection with the shooting.  A sixteen-year-old teenager was arrested and another nother suspect, 18-year-old Langham Chandler Davidson of Brent, turned himself into authorities. He was released on a $2,500 bond. The juvenile was not identified. Davidson is the suspected shooter according to the sheriff's office.

Langham Chandler Davidson, 18, has been charged with killing and destroying livestock, a class c felony after he shot the horse from the window of a gold Tahoe the morning of December 14th.
