May, a 7-year-old donkey, has been found in Cecil County after missing for a week. May had been set to be put down before Dorset Equine Rescue had saved here.
During the major storms and flooding that started last week, May somehow got loose. Community members planned search parties looking for her.
Fortunately, before another was to take place Sunday, May was found in Colora only a couple of miles from where she was last seen. After a Good Samaritan reported seeing her; community members, her vet and members of the Cecil County Sheriff’s office were able to rescue her again.
