TEMECULA CA, December 31, 2013 - Deputies are searching for a suspected horse thief in Temecula.
Yes, really.
Riverside County Sheriff’s officials are seeking the public’s help in solving the disappearance of horse reportedly taken from a Temecula Valley Wine Country property.
Horse owner Betty Butler, a tenant at the property, said she went out to see her horse, Molly, that Friday morning.
“I looked out of my window towards Molly’s pen and noticed her blanket was not draped over the rail as it always is,” Butler said.
Butler walked up to the pen and realized her horse of four years was not in her enclosure.
“I panicked and called the police,” Butler, 77, said.
