MISSING Horse - JUSTA REYCY NURSE aka:Racey
#4012 | 14 February 2021
Name: Sam
Gender: Mare
Species: Horse
Breed: Arabian-CROSS
Description: Sam is a 23-year-old Welara mare, 13.1 h. She is white, and during the summer, she is fleabitten, with black and pink pinto markings on her skin, which are visible only during that time. Sam was a talented pony and had shown in Western, English, Hunter/Jumper, Gaming, in-hand, and Trail events. She is a brave pony and moves cows on our farm and rides out on trails. She also tended to buck if not happy and open most any gates.
Sam was leased out on November 22, 2023. I have been trying to locate the people who leased Sam. Man leased Sam, and his aunt picked her up. Many emails, FB messages, texts, and phone calls have been made to locate Sam. People who leased her have moved, possibly out of state. I have spent six months looking for them now - at this point, the pony has been reported stolen.
If Sam is somewhere happy and healthy, that's wonderful; if not, I want to bring her home. Sam was my daughter's first pony, and we purchased her on April 27, 2013, from a family in Roy, Washington. I have leased Sam out several times since my daughter and son stopped riding her. No one has ever had permission to sell her. The plan has always been for Sam to retire with me.
