The mare was found missing from the herd on or around Feb 6th, 2015 and was reported on Feb 10th to the Rappahannock County Sheriff's Department. This mare is from an extremely rare herd of Heck Tarpan Horses and the largest collection of them in the USA. The mare herself is having an at risk pregnancy and is due to foal in late March early April. The mare is invaluable because of her rarity.
