Missing Horse Near Culpeper, Virginia, 22701

Description: 12/29/23 UPDATE: He is still missing. Nobody ever saw even a hoofprint. We searched extensively for over a month. On foot, horseback, drones. I put out flyers in mailboxes had posters up and had it on the radio.

Likely wandered off from farm- holes found in old cattle fence in the back of the pasture. Currently wearing a blue blanket. 30+ year old rescue, approx 14hh. Update
1/3, 8pm: Elvis is still not found. Tracking dog seemed to have a trail but it seems the old guy was really on the move. We ended in the woods across 522 by the time daylight ran out. Thermal drones used after dark, as well as foot searches, yielded no results in those woods. Tomorrow I will regroup and attempt to identify further options.
Local friends! If anyone is available this afternoon (aka now) I really need help to find my lost horse. Please send me a note if you can come help search! I’ll be looking until he is found, and will update if/when we find him.
