OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (NETPOSSE) – Just when we think that we've seen or heard it all, this happens.

Garry Chase Coble Jr. was charged with larceny of livestock after the Oconee County Sheriff's office found a stolen horse inside a bedroom at his father's house Monday.

According to the sheriff's office, Coble was seen by a woman riding a horse down the 100 block of Country Lane around 2:33 pm.

Officers were called to the house. They talked with Coble's father who said his son was not supposed to be there. As soon as Coble's father opened the door horse feces was seen in the living room.

The father demanded that his son come out of the bedroom. As deputies tried to take Garry into custody, he ran back into the bedroom. The deputies could see the Quarter Horse in the bedroom when the door was opened.

Luckily, the horse remained calm as Garry Coble was placed into custody in the nearby bathroom. The owner arrived to pick up his horse and noted that there was a small red laceration on the front left leg of the horse that was not there before the horse was stolen.

Garry Coble is facing charges of burglary, malicious injury to animals or personal property, and petit larceny in unrelated cases and remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center..
