I have just returned from the Horse Lovers Summit on the Sea fundraiser and conference cruise, and my heart is truly full. As the founder of Stolen Horse International, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to every single person who joined us on the February 15th sailing.

To all our attendees—thank you for spending your time with us, for your enthusiasm during the seminars, and for the meaningful conversations throughout the week. I loved seeing familiar summit friends and meeting so many new ones. Your kindness, your stories, and your passion for our mission made this event unforgettable.

I want to give a heartfelt and truly special thank‑you to our summit speakers, who brought their expertise, wisdom, and passion to every session. What makes their contribution even more remarkable is that they attended the summit at their own expense, simply because they believe in our mission and in the importance of educating and supporting the horse community. Their generosity, professionalism, and willingness to give so freely of themselves elevated the entire experience. I am deeply humbled and profoundly grateful for their commitment.

From My Heart to Yours 
I am truly touched by the support shown for Stolen Horse International throughout this summit. This event has been a labor of love for me personally—born from years of speaking at events nationwide, and from the very origins of Stolen Horse International itself, which began with the tragic theft of our own horse, Idaho, whom we fought to recover for 51 long weeks. That experience, followed by decades of helping horse owners across the country, shaped my desire to bring people who love horses together in a meaningful way.

My goal has always been to create a horse‑loving family as we learn together—something that has far exceeded my expectations and fills my heart more than I can express. With tears in my eyes, I reflect on what so many of you have helped me accomplish. I hope each one of you enjoyed coming back to see our “cruise family,” and that the newcomers saw firsthand how special this group truly is—felt the closeness, met new friends, and will return with us next year.
This event is so special that it is hard to describe to those who have not yet attended and experienced this unique connection—not only during the cruise but all year long. Many friendships have begun on these cruises and continued far beyond the Horse Lovers Summit. How special is that?
