Unfortunately, many who begin their search with strong dedication often lose hope eventually and stop the physical search, even though they continue to hold their horses in their hearts. 

Boots is a special case; his friend Jay has been searching for him tirelessly for years and refuses to give up. She has been on a relentless quest since he was sold at auction by the city, where he served as a cherished mounted police horse.

Today, we honor Jay's unwavering determination because she truly embodies the spirit of 'never give up' when it comes to finding a horse.
