Description: In September 2024 I purchased a friend's horses to protect them during her divorce and to provide her money for an attorney. I then care leased them back to her. In November of 2025 I found out, as the captain of our drill team, that she embezzled approximately 20k of the teams’ money. I attempted to pick up the horses and she would not relinquish them. I filed in civil court and yesterday I was granted a court order to go pick them up. When I arrived to the property with a sheriff and bailiff escort she had chained the gates closed on the property. The bailiff went back to get an emergency order to enter the property when she called and said to come get the horses. When I arrived only one of the three horses were present, she had hidden Maverick and Storm.
