Description: Ruby is a sorrel mare approximately 10 years old, with no white socks but faded light-colored feet, and a white star on her forehead. She has a BLM freeze brand 15632197 and foaled on April 26, 2024. Her filly, one of the missing horses, has a distinctive long white blaze and was born a dark chestnut.
The horses were located in Harrington, Kansas, with a woman who runs a rescue and is a horse hauler. She agreed to keep my horses on her property, but the last photo she sent was in August 2024. The only posted proof of the horses was on Facebook in June 2025. Since then, she has refused my calls. An investigation by the Kansas Attorney General is ongoing, and a deputy confirmed the horses are no longer at the property. The owner still holds the titles, so the horses may have been moved, sold, or auctioned without proper documentation.
The group includes two fillies, approximately 1.5 years old. The other missing horses are described as follows:
Joey: An 8-9-year-old black and white pinto gelding with a star and a large snip. He is not a BLM mustang but might be a reservation horse.
Koko: A 13-year-old brown mare. She is dark brown with no markings except a tiny white spot on her forehead. She has a BLM freeze brand 12632413 and a left hip brand of 2413.
Wachiwi: A 15-year-old black mare with a white star shaped like a half moon. She has a BLM freeze brand 10632037 and a left hip brand of #2037. Her missing filly (foaled end of April/early May, born a solid dark color) is also missing.
