All adopters sign a contract allowing us to conduct periodic follow up visits and agreeing to not sell/give away/send to slaughter their adopted horse.
In January 2022, we reached out to the adopter to conduct a routine follow-up visit. The adopter refused to returned calls or emails. We've spent months attempting to contact the adopter with no response.
Bunny came to us from a severe neglect case, and we want to make sure she is still ok. If Bunny has been given away, we do not want to take her away from her new home. We would just like to get new adoption paperwork filled out and be able to support her as we promised.
