Description: I had owned Cali since she was 2 years old and she was adopted and moved to KY at age 12 in December 2013. Due to injuries causing lameness and light trail riding and pasture soundness only, she was to be a broodmare. By contract, I have first right of refusal if the new owner decides not to keep her plus breeding rights. The new owner was hospitalized May 29th and died in June. I have been provided two versions of where Cali may be:
1. she is still in the Lexington/ KY area
2. She was traded for a thoroughbred broodmare between 4/16 - 5/28 and Cali now resides somewhere in western Nc
Should I find that she is at a good home willing to keep in touch with me and allow visitation plus first refusal rights, I am willing to recontract with this person.
