Stolen Horse International, Inc., a 501(c)(3), is an all-volunteer-run nonprofit organization known as NetPosse.com. Its roots can be traced back to a personal tragedy-the theft of Harold and Debi Metcalfe's horse, Idaho, in 1997. Faced with a lack of resources and support during the 51 weeks it took to find their beloved horse, the Metcalfes were inspired to create a platform that could help the tens of thousands of victims like themselves.
Although they never envisioned where they would be decades later, their leadership, inventiveness, and admirable contribution toward positive changes in the equine industry, these visionaries have filled a gap in the equine industry worldwide and are true pioneers.
Stolen Horse International stands out as the sole organization of its kind globally, renowned for its robust missing, lost, found, and stolen equine NetPosse Alert network. It also distinguishes itself with its unique focus on Education, designed to empower horse owners to take proactive measures to protect their horses before any unfortunate incidents occur.
The passionate founder and president of Stolen Horse International, Debi Metcalfe, is at the helm of all operations. Her fervor brings Education to the public in various ways through the organization's Educational Outreach Program. Some of Metcalfe's and the organization's remarkable accomplishments are listed below, serving as a testament to her unwavering commitment and leadership.
She speaks at national events, including the World Equestrian Games. Her message is powerful and inspirational. Metcalfe, author of Horse Theft, Been There--Done That. To learn more about Metcalfe's accomplishments, click the following link. https://netposse.com/article.asp?id=68
