Description : Beau was being transferred back to me by a buyer that couldn't afford to feed her any longer, so was giving her back to me. I lived out of the county and asked a friend to take her feed until I could get thereto pick her up blizzard conditions were keeping me away). My friend found my mare in very poor condition and called the police, there was an investigation against the previous buyer, and the boarder. My 'friend' got frustrated with me not being able to move the mare as quickly as she thought I should and took it upon herself to haul my mare to the vet, where it was reported to me that she died after an umbilical hernia surgery. I asked this person for a report from the vet...or a phone number...I never received one. I have always felt that she was alive, but wanted to trust my 'friend'. This is almost 2 years later, My 'friend' has changed her story 2-3 times about when & how Beau died, I have heard from others that she decided that I didn't need the horse and gave/sold her to someone in the Pendleton, Oregon area. This horse was named after my daughter, and means a lot to us, if you know anything!!! Please contact us!!!
