The last time I saw my mare was the day I sent her to the trainer (contact owner for name) on July 27,2005. She was to have one month's tune-up to get her ready to sell. On august 27, 2005 the trainer offered to buy the mare. He was unable to get any money to me until April 2006 and he has been late every payment. I have called and written him several times an he continues to ignore me. His wife is the one that finally called me after he had taken my horse and several other horses to California without the owners' permission. She called the sheriff and got her horse back but not mine. He seems to be living a double life, part time with his wife in Myrtle Point, Oregon and with another woman (contact owner for name) in Klamath, California. I made contact with the other woman and asked if she moved my horse and if she still had her and she said yes to both questions...but she would not give me the address in Klamath, California where my horse is at. She has also relayed my messages to the trainer to call me ... and again he has not. The brand inspector will not take any action until he receives the address where my mare is.
