My 20 yr old son was riding Roxy when she was spooked by a snake on the trail and ran. She is fully tacked, saddle and bridal. She has been missing for 10 days. Lots of predators for an innocent horse to contend with. My son is heartbroken and we as a family can't rest til she is home and safe. Reports of her calling out whinnying, within the last week up canyon rd in Sheridan Oregon. So far we have done two organized searches on horseback and with 4 wheelers and have sent out two horses a day trying to track her. We rented a helicopter to do a fly over. Put out a ton of flyers talked to local people to search their property. Contacted SHI, Sheriff department and animal control. Sending out a stud to try to find her today. Please help bring our baby home safely.
Note: Roxy was purchased at an auction on May 14, 2017. At the auction, Charity was told she is 8 years old. However, the auction had her listed as 16 years old. So please keep that in mind - her age is anywhere from roughly 8 to 16 years of age.
