Boarders heard horses whinny in early morning assumed it was cause of feeding time. Neighbors little girls saw horse heading north on road by itself. Waited for 24 hours then reported horse stolen to St Joseph County PD.

UPDATE: Sherrina has notified us that Moon has been found and is safe at home!!! After nearly a year of searching and trailing she is now back where she belongs, she is a little different in appearance her mane has been shaved, she has a few new scars and has lost some weight.

 - Osceola (St. Joseph County) IN: Moon was discovered missing from boarding facility, owners had heard whinnying but assumed it was because it was near feeding time. Two little girls in neighborhood reported seeing "a horse walking by itself down the side of the road." There is reason to believe Moon has been stolen and Law enforcement has been contacted. Information received points to MI and possibly somewhere on the East Coast but she can be anywhere at this time! March 14, 2018 UPDATE!!! FROM SHERRINA;

"Ok everyone we have some new information. It is believed Moon may have fled to the Tombstone AZ area. Please share with family and friends. Please help me get my horse back.

Someone knows something please do the right thing. It's been almost 10 months since Moon was Stolen. I am not giving up till we find her.

Please share. If you board or know a boarder please show them. The person boarding her may not be aware they are boarding a stolen horse. If they are aware they can fa...ce serious consequences. Moon was stolen on May 20, 2017. Please please share to help bring my horse home.

I miss my big girl and her beautiful personality. Still praying that she is found and will come home soon.

Moon is a 16hh 1300-1500 lbs bay with black hooves, stockings, mane and tail. She is a Percheron/thoroughbred cross. She has a partial white star on her forehead just under her forelock.

Pictures are of Moon. They contain previous locations she has been boarded at with owner and previous owner. Moon has been under my care since August 2013 till she was stolen on May 20, 2017.
