Coming Together in a Theft Disaster: Partnerships for Recovery

Over the past three months Stolen Horse International, Inc.™ (NetPosse) has been consulting  with Jackie McFadden, her husband Jodie and thousands across the country in the search for SC stolen horses River and Yago.

Our victims are in rough positions, and we all have to work together to help them get the word out about their horses and give them peace of mind knowing that we care. Of course this takes time.

By working together – our nonprofit organization while organizing news media, law enforcement government agencies, social media and committed volunteers – can offer victims support during their search and recovery and help them get back on their feet and on with their lives when a horse comes home.

People from all walks of life who make a challenging heartbreaking situation inspiring with their limitless compassion and a never give up spirit. One of these people, Nora Keehn, a 92 year old horse enthusiast took the mission to bring River and Yago home as serious as we do. We are thankful to Ms. Keehn and everyone who helped in any way on this case, especially our reports manager who coordinated team USA for three months in the search for these horses.

Through many conversations we witnessed firsthand the strong resolve that Jackie possessed in finding her horses. Her “never give up attitude” is exactly the spirit of the founders of our organization when they were searching for their horse. That never give up attitude is what led them to start this nonprofit organization and to keep paying it forward for victims for almost 20 years.

We also appreciate the victims who understand the sacrifices our volunteer staff makes in their lives to assist them when they too “pay it forward” to help victims, past present and future.
