We were at Boise National Forest camping. Buddy was attached to his high line. When I checked on him during the night he was still there but when my husband got up at 6am, Buddy was gone. We did not hear a struggle. The high line that Buddy was attached to was broken. There were no hoof prints or piles of manure, we searched for 4-5 hours and cut down 5 trees to check down off the road. We back tracked, no sign of Buddy. We went back to the house and got the 4-wheeler so we could continue to look for him. My husband hiked for 5 days looking for him in areas that the 4-wheeler could not get to. There has been no sign of Buddy anywhere!
