The only bad part about owning a horse is having to day good-bye. Today we join the Buflod family in saying goodbye to Midnight, a horse who brought our two families together because he was stolen in 2002. Ever since we''ve had the pleasure of having dinner (and breakfast) with the Buflods every Sunday after the Ohio Equine Affaire. It is the highlight of our OEA trip. We''ve watch each other''s children grow, get married and have the first grandchild. We have also watched Helge achieve his dream of having his own horse training business. Never underestimate the power of one stolen horse and how that event can both sadden and enrich your life. Few creatures can touch your soul like a horse. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. In loving memory of Midnight and deepest sympathy for your loss- Harold and Debi Metcalfe
