MISSING EQUINE Coda, REWARD Near Buffalo Junction, VA, 24529

NetPosse Report ID # : 2543 (7015)
Description :

In December 2012, I gave my mare away on a free adoption contract to a woman who lived in Buffalo Junction. I told her that if she couldn't keep her for any reason, I would take her back. I was told I could visit her whenever I liked and I contacted her in February, March, April and June and tried to set up a time to visit. I did not receive prompt replies or any replies at all half the time. In June, i was told that Coda had been struck by lightning and died and was buried on the property. My requests to visit her grave and pay my last respects went unanswered. In the time since, it's become clear to me that this woman is a horse trader and I would like to try to figure out if Coda was sold to someone else in the area. Coda would now be a 21-year-old paint mare. She has a crappy forelock that barely grows. Her right eye is blue. She was off and on lame in her right stifle and hock. Her registered name is Shesa Dandy Katie however she was never transferred into my name.
