Description : Chief, sorrel mini gelding, and Tyson, sorrel quarter horse/Arab gelding, were adopted horses being kept at this property and were RESCUE horses. They were sold from the property WITHOUT adopters or rescues permission or knowledge. There are 4 different stories coming from the people that sold the horses: (1) sold to a family in Tennessee; (2) sold to a family in Florida; (3) sold at Cartersville Auction; (4) sold at Cleveland Tennessee Auction. The crime has been reported to Cherokee Sheriff's Office and is under investigation. Also charges being filed against the family for theft.
