Description : Searching for Sundance - a Sorrel Arabian Gelding - given to Spindletop Pit Bull Refuge in Willis, Texas - former owner seeks truth of his whereabouts. In early 2009 Sundance was turned over to Spindletop rescue in Willis, TX. At the time he was turned over he was not supposed to be adopted. In March 2012 he appeared on their website as "adopted". I contacted the rescue and was assured he had a good home. I was not too concerned at the time since under the adoption contract the adopter would have to return him to the rescue if and when they were not able to care for him. Since the raid and closure of the rescue group I have tried to contact the owner and her attorney to get the information as to his whereabouts and both refuse any information. According to stories pertaining to the dogs the owners were told that the dogs were adopted and were actually not. I am trying to find him and share contact information with the adopter and/or find out what really happened to him and hopefully get him back.
