Description : I leased my horse, Chase, to a lady in Milton, FL [contact owner for name] in April of 2012. [This lady offers her place as a rescue]. Though I sent her a lease agreement she never returned on. In July of 2012, I was contacted by the woman because Chase's former trainer had told her that she is Chase's true owner and wanted him back. Instead of asking me about this, she believed this person and was prepared to send him to her without my consent or knowledge. Also in July of 2012 I offered to take my horse back because it was not working out with the horse and her. She refused stating that he was fine there and would not deal well with change. In August of 2012, I contacted her to see how he was doing and it was brought to my attention that he was at the trainers getting back into work and she was going to take him to some Warmblood classes, etc. I was ok with this and was happy that he was getting back into work. On September 6, 2012 I contacted the rescue facility regarding my horse and was informed that he was at "a show barn" near her and was going to be showing in the near future. I asked for information including pictures of my horse in his new home and she did not return my email after that. Again on September 15, 2012 I sent another email requesting information on the location of my horse. Her response was the person she leased him to did not feel comfortable with me knowing where he was due to all the "drama" (drama caused by his former trainer contacting Pattie and demanding the horse back in addition to slandering myself). Due to the fact that this woman refuses to tell me where my horse is, I am considering him stolen and want my horse back.
