Cinder was carefully rehomed in November 2022 to Chari Gilsinger in Warsaw (North Webster), Indiana. We stayed in touch over the past two years, which I deeply appreciated.
Recently, I learned that Cinder has since been sold. I hold no ill feelings if the placement was not the right fit. However, despite multiple requests, I have not been able to obtain any information regarding the sale�"such as the buyer’s name, date of sale, state of residence, bill of sale, listing platform, or any documentation that could help trace her current whereabouts. Cinder’s ASHA transfer registration has also not been updated.
When I purchased Cinder 12 years ago, I remained in contact with her breeder, sharing updates and photos so she knew Cinder was loved and well cared for. I believe that transparency brought peace of mind to everyone involved. Chari and I followed the same approach and remain in contact, but she has no additional details to share other than that Cinder was reportedly sold to an older couple for trail riding.
If anyone recognizes Cinder, or knows of someone who may have purchased a mare in late 2024 or 2025 that matches her description, I kindly ask that you reach out or share this information.
This is not an attempt to disrupt ownership or interfere in any way. My only wish is to confirm that Cinder is safe and well. Given the tragic loss of her grandfather, Fox Valley Oliver, due to severe neglect, her well-being is deeply important to me. I would be grateful for the opportunity to be in contact, if the current owners are open to it.
