Searching For Horse Near Unadilla, NY, 13849

Name: PUT IT IN THE SKY PERRY
Gender: Gelding
Species: Horse
Breed: Thoroughbred
Description: I was taken to an auction without my knowledge, which should never have occurred. I never approved of this, and there are numerous false claims regarding the reasons and circumstances. Perry and I are the individuals who were harmed, and I request the immediate return of Perry. Please assist me in locating Perry.

Perry was taken from the barn where he was housed and was sold at a horse auction without my awareness. I wish to have Perry returned home with me. He resided with me at my residence until I experienced a difficult divorce, after which he was transferred to a barn intended for use in a riding program, though he did not fit into that program. I frequently visited him at the barn, and subsequently learned that the barn owner needed to free some stalls, resulting in Perry being sold at an auction.

"Perry," a 15-year-old, 15.2-hand OTTB gelding from Connecticut, was sold at the Unadilla October 25, 2025 auction by a private individual named John S., also from Connecticut. I was unaware of this transaction and would never have consented to such a sale. His registered name is "PUT IT IN THE SKY," and his documentation was transferred with him to the auction.

LATEST UPDATE AS OF 11/17/25:
I have communicated with a renowned horse communicator, and I trust entirely in her insights. Since the day after I discovered Perry's removal from his previous location, I have experienced an overwhelming sense of dread, indicating that he requires immediate aid.

Perry is a horse that forms a strong bond with his designated person, and we share a profound connection. However, he is also a very frightened animal and longs to be back home on my property, where he is loved immensely. His distress mirrors my own, and I am deeply concerned for his safety.

Perry’s health issues necessitate proper treatment; otherwise, he may be in grave danger. He is not a horse suitable for just anyone to ride, as he demands a skilled rider due to his sensitive mouth and other needs.

My heart is broken from being separated from him, and our bond was extraordinary. I kindly ask everyone to promote awareness of his situation so that he is not forgotten.

I contacted the auction and spoke with an employee, who informed me that there is nothing they can do to assist.

LATEST UPDATE AS OF 11/11/25:
Jonn S., the Connecticut resident who delivered Perry to the Unadilla auction in October, stated that Perry was sold to another dealer. If anyone has information regarding the dealers who attended this auction, please share it with me.

I am attempting to contact the person who purchased my former horse at a horse auction in New York on October 25, 2025.
