Last September, I entrusted a trainer named Chris with the task of training my young horse, a rescue I rehabilitated at considerable veterinary expense and surgery. I duly paid for his training services. When I requested the return of my horse in November, he requested an additional month to continue the training. Subsequently, he continued to provide excuses, ultimately informing me that he had taken my horse to a ranch in Texas to work with a roper�"an action that was never authorized, as my intention was solely for basic training, not roping. He claimed that my horse was exceptional and could be sold for $50,000, which is implausible given that my horse lacks papers, titles, or earnings. I even accused him of selling my horse; he dismissed this allegation, which made me feel as though I was unjustified in my concerns. By March, it became increasingly difficult to contact him, and by April, I had lost all communication. I remain unaware of my horse's current whereabouts. At that time, he was located in Kentwood, Louisiana. Yesterday, I confirmed my concerns after speaking with another woman experiencing similar issues and learning of multiple others he has deceived. I am currently collaborating with livestock authorities and filing reports through various channels. My objective is to inform the public and to make clear that I seek the return of my horse. Please share this message broadly. If anyone can assist in locating him, I would be profoundly grateful�"even though I recognize it may be unlikely. I am praying for answers. Attached are his information, Venmo receipts, videos of alleged 'training,' and photographs of Cope, including images taken both in my possession and at his barn�" which later was discovered to belong to someone else.
