Description: He, Jaxon, is a standard donkey and not registered. I had bought him young and he was rescued from a kill pen in Texas and taken to Casa Grande, AZ. I had gotten him from that person.He was to be a friend to my shetland pony When I became ill I wanted them to go to amazing homes and I paid a fee of 1,000 to a rescue in Reno. The weather was bad so they had a transporter come pick them up who was a local young person who lived near Phoenix. Once she had the donkey and horse and the rescue had my money the rescue ghosted me and the transporter wanted to keep the pony. I told them many times I did not want them seperated. The girl who transported only wanted the pony but assured me she had an amazing home for the donkey. This was in December 2023. I come to find out the person who had the donkey was a serial hoarder who had been previoiusly arrested for that. She moved to another county and started to hoard animals again. In April of this month I was able to have the state remove all of her equine off her property and despite her telling the woman who sold her the donkey that she still has him and sent pictures (old), she no long has him. On Monday I saw my post with a comment from a rescuer in that area the she thinks the donkey was sold to someone in New Mexico but she will not reply to me either by phone, text or fb, so I don't know how she learned about this. The white standard donkey, Jaxson, is about seven years old and all white.
