Missing horse in Bentonville, Arkansas area, from Miami, Oklahoma area. I allowed my farrier to borrow my horse to ride it and keep it active. I offered to pay for feed, hay, and any entry fees if needed.
This horse, Power Slidn Lize, is worth some money. She is an AQHA-registered horse, and her bloodline is well known. We raised and trained this horse, and my children grew up on this horse. This horse does barrels, flags, and poles, works cattle and is smart and gentle.
When I told the farrier I wanted my horse back, he told my daughter and 4-year-old granddaughter that the horse died in his mother’s pasture, and his stepbrother buried it. We were devastated, and he gave my daughter and my 4-year-old granddaughter hair from a horse's tail; we assumed it was from Lize.
We contacted a State Agricultural Investigator to investigate this because it was odd that when I asked for my horse back…it died. The investigator informed me that he found the horse was not dead but that the farrier traded it to someone around Bentonville, Arkansas. Of course, the farrier doesn’t remember who it was or where they met to exchange the horse.
I want our horse back. I am not going to get it back from the farrier, so this is my only option: I will post it on social media. Please look at the photos, and any help would be appreciated.
I am willing to pay a reward for our horse. The odds are slim, but any help may lead me back to Lize. Please PM with any information or questions. Area Last Seen: Miami, OK, 74354 Date Stolen: 10/7/2024 Contact
