Hello everyone! I’m hoping someone in here can help me locate a pony. I’m looking for my first pony, who, long story short, was supposed to have been sold to a “forever” home. I have tracked her from my SC to somewhere in Florida. Her last known location was with Joe Williams for training in 2018, although I am unsure how long she stayed. I have reached out to him but have not heard back. I have heard she was sold and maybe somewhere in the Ocala area.

She was a VERY talented jumper, but she also had a bucking problem, which caused her to change hands too many times and end up in a few auctions. I want to know if she’s okay and needs a safe landing/ retirement. I’m in a place now where I can provide that. I’m happy to pay a “finders fee,” and the money is of no concern if she needs a home or can return it to me. I miss her dearly, and my heart breaks for her.

She is a 14-hh red-roan Welsh X TB pony mare. She was 15 when she was with Joe and would be 20 now. If her papers have been kept up with since I sold her, she may have papers from the Virginia Pony Breeders Association. She has four white stockings, and a blaze goes down her face that veers over her left nostril.

She may be known as “Raindrop,” “Raina,” or “Princess Roanie/Roonie.”

***editing to add that if she is safe and loved, I’m happy she is and in no way mean to take her from anyone who cares for her. She was the sweetest girl, but could be difficult under saddle. She’s changed hands SO many times over the years. I know I am not obligated to anything, but I’d just love to hear that she’s safe.***
