RECOVERED WEDNESDAY MORNING: The horse has been found. There was a mix-up with people who were handling the horse and the unbeknownst to the owner. One of them moved the horse from the trailer to a stall in Whitesboro, TX., the last stop with the trailer. The horse was found this morning at 6:20 am. Stuart says, "***RECOVERED***When my husband (his name is left out to protect his tiredness) stopped to check on the arena construction on a job site, a well-meaning employee of the farm saw the palomino in the trailer. He assumed it was the one they were expecting. Yes, they were expecting the delivery of a palomino! The trainer saw this post early this morning and realized the employee's error." Stuart continues, "Please note that we love our horses and typically check them regularly while traveling. My very focused husband was trying to get his work done on his way home from a less-than-stellar derby run. Anyone showing in our industry knows the fatigue that can cause."
HAPPY DANCE TIME! Gunther has been located and is safe. There was a mix-up with a new worker who moved the horse off the trailer.
