Adopted horse to a person in KY on May 4th, 2017. A recent call informed me that the horse was traded or sold at a sale months ago. I contacted all local traders and found he one he traded the horse plus $250 to for another horse. The trader has no knowledge that he belonged to someone else and so he said he worked him 60 days under saddle and sold him again at auction. The person who purchased Kenai then reportedly took him to a sale in Arkansas. We are not yet sure of the dates or exact sale in Arkansas. That will hopefully come to light soon. He was said to have been purchased by a man who purchased 3 or 4 other arabians at the sale and that he seems "pretty happy about getting him". There is a contract that was signed that he was not to buy, sell, trade or auction Kenai and that Kenai is the property of Elysian Acres Equine Rescue in Kentucky (of which I am the executive director).
